The Principal Partners

1. Ir Hjh Endok Sempo binti Hj. M Tahir.
B. Sc.Electrical & Elecronics Engineering, London, United Kingdom, M. Eng (UTM), MIEM,P.Eng

She is the principal consultant who oversees the firm’s operation. Her professional experience and background spans over 20 years of a unique blend as an electrical engineer, a university lecturer/ researcher, project manager and a director of a consulting engineer’s firm. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Polytechnics of Central London (the then Westminster University, London ) and holds a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from The University Technology Malaysia. She is registered as a professional engineer with Board of Engineer Malaysia, BEM and a corporate member of Institution of Engineers Malaysia, MIEM.

She worked with UTM as lecturer for more than 15 years before seconded to Jabatan Keretapi of Ministry of Transport. She worked with Jabatan Keretapi Malaysia of Kementerian Pengangkutan as project coordinator for First LRT Project ,STAR(Sistem Transit Aliran Ringan. She was working and liaise with 2 international companies, Taylor Woodrow, UK and AEG GMBH, Germany. Her main task was to oversee, coordinate and monitor the implementation of Government Mega Projek, 2.0 Billion STAR-LRT project 1994-1996.

In 1997 she joined Usrahlite Engineering (M) sdn Bhd, a Class 1, Class A Electrical Engineering contractor as an Executve Director. Her scope of job was to co-manage Head office administration for approval of contractor’s drawing, liaising with authorities, arrange for factory inspection, witness tetsing and monitoring the progress of electrical work which covers 415V-11Kv mainswitchboards, small power, lightning protection & earthing and lightings.

In late 2001 she was part of the pioneering team that started SENIE Associates Sdn Bhd, a C & S and M & E consulting company. Her role as Director (Electrical) is to undertake, implement and execute engineering consultancy services and to provide professional advice and services for M & E engineering work. Her experiences include design, install, testing & commissioning of electrical services, project management, cost control and procurement, costing & negotiation

Among major Projects coordinated are Langkawi Marina ‘widening & deepening’ work ’ of Kok River, Renovation & extension of existing semi-detached factory at MIEL industrial zone Bayan Lepas, Main Operation Theater General Hospital Kuala Lumpur, Office of The Honorary Secretary of DYMM King of Perlis, Creative street lighting for main road Bandar Seremban Negeri Sembilan, Multistorey apartments, Housing projects, Police Quarters for PDRM, Mes Pegawai IPD Perlis, IPD Kuala Kangsar, Polise Quarters IPD Kuala Langat, Masjid As-Sharif, Infrastruktur & Street Lighting Project,Traffic light controls at highways.

2. Ir Hayati binti Abdullah. B. Sc Mechanical Eng, Clemson University, South Carolina, USA), M. Eng (UTM), P.Eng (BEM), MIEM, MIEEE(USA)

She is the Mechanical Engineering Principal partner. Her expertise and experience in heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and fire fighting will enhance the company participation in the mechanically related industries.

She has other experience in various consultancy projects with the Ministry of Energy, Telecommunication and Post Malaysia as well as the Asian Development Bank. She is a certified energy manager and has had formal training as an energy auditor in an international energy conservation training programme in Malmo, Sweden.

Her involvement as a consultant and energy auditor has seen her leading various projects including auditing energy intensive industries such as Kedah Cement Sdn. Bhd, Perak Hanjoong Simen Sdn. Bhd, Tasek Cement Berhad, Cement Industries (Sabah) Sdn. Bhd, KIMA Textiles Sdn. Bhd, Guocera Tile Industries, Kajang Paper Mills Sdn. Bhd, Pentex Sdn. Bhd, Johnson & Johnson(M) Sdn. Bhd, Hitachi Air Conditioning Products , Chong Wah Plastic Sdn. Bhd and Associated Ceramics Works. She has also conducted Energy Audit Training and Workshop for the Hong Leong Group of Companies.

She is also a consultant for the Institute Sultan Iskandar of Urban Habitat and Highrise in which she manages projects involving energy monitoring for buildings. She is currently involved in a project on the design and development of a Building Integrated Photovoltaic Application for the Sultanah Zanariah Library, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
